Best countries for people traveling alone
Best countries for people traveling alone

There are cities in the world, as if created for traveling alone, where it is a pleasure to get lost among the streets and parks, enjoy a leisurely reading of a book in a cafe and a leisurely stroll through museums, galleries and stores.

Japan, Tokyo.

Being by yourself amid Tokyo's serene temples and Japanese gardens, where you can lose yourself in your own thoughts and musings, has an allure all its own. Tokyo is a great place to shop and go sightseeing. For individuals who would rather savor the local food on their own, sushi bars and restaurant bars are great options. Additionally, single people like you frequently eat at these establishments.

When there is a long queue of patrons waiting for a large table at the front of a restaurant, it is simpler for singles to get a seat. Conversely, single people just require one seat. Typically, you may see the chef prepare food at the counter, including rolls and sweets, chop fish, and make rice. The cost of admission is justified only by this spectacle.

Argentina, Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is a popular destination for solo travelers due to its unique blend of European restlessness and café culture. The city's tango parlors remain silent far into the night. However, whether you envision the wine region of Mendoza, the breathtaking scenery of Salta, or horseback riding with the gauchos, life outside of Evita may be just as fascinating.

USA, New York.

New York City life is akin to a fast-paced, high-contact sport. Because of this, many residents enjoy spending some alone time occasionally. They might stroll around the park established on the location of the former Highline Park railroad line, visit independent movie theaters, or just relax on a park seat. In New York, individuals work together alone in co-working spaces, boutique hotels, parks, and coffee shops with their laptops.

That's why single travelers find New York to be so ideal. People can be found reading in peace and quiet at the parks and libraries around here. For those who want to take in the exhibitions without the din of other tourists, even museums provide "quiet mornings" that begin at 07.30. During this time, everyone switches off their phones and loses themselves in the world of art or in a meditation session.

Chile, Santiago.

The Plaza de Armas in the historic center and the breathtaking panorama of San Cristobal Hill are just two of the many sights to behold in Chile's capital. For tourists with an appreciation for poetry, Santiago holds special significance as the birthplace of Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda. The Bellavista area features brightly colored homes with quaint shops and walls covered in creative street art.

Make sure you make the trip to the Pacific coast, where the La Sebastiana house-museum, owned by Pablo Neruda, is situated in the Valparaiso hills. The city itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the blue sea shimmering in the distance and residences painted in vibrant, rich hues.

France, Paris.

To fall in love with Paris is to visit it, and to do so, you must be by yourself. It's the ideal environment to learn how to appreciate everything from fresh pastries to sunshine, shade, flowers, fruits, and even the sight of elderly guys smoking and playing pétanque.

By foot is the greatest way to explore Paris. By the way, the word "flanse," which means to wander aimlessly through the city's streets, comes from the French language. When you need a break, simply take a seat in one of the little sidewalk cafés, sip coffee, peruse a book, or simply savor a moment of priceless inactivity. After all, where else than Paris can you truly experience the essence of life?
